Another scenic local—once again dwarfed by towering trees, and of course, the towering Plymouth Rock!

WAVERLEY BEACH
South of Mt. Taranaki a beach road beckoned…rewarded with awesome scenery and black sand beach.
TASMAN SEA
Heaps of people were enjoying the beach, no matter how cold the water was! The damp sand extended well beyond the water’s edge making it impossible to lay towels or clothing down. No worries, I was glad to hold the items while Bill braved the shallow surf!

FOXTON BEACH
A lone rider (with 2 horses) on a misty day. Not a great beach day weather-wise so perhaps increased odds of finding a watch in working order!
