PRINCE EDWARD Island

Borden, Prince Edward Island

Displayed near the Confederation Bridge, a symbol of Canda’s past when trains once traversed the Island. Before the bridge was built, train cars loaded onto ferries to cross Northumberland Strait, and unloaded onto New Brunswick tracks to resume their route. The train tracks were eventually removed and replaced with the Confederation Trail, a well maintained path used by locals and tourists to hike, jog, walk, run, cycle or snowmobile.
