Punta Umbria, Spain

Randomly chose this seaside location, booked a couple of nights, liked it so much…stayed longer! Expansive beaches, warm, dry climate, small town atmosphere—granted it was October—apparently the population swells considerably during ‘the season’.

The town trash disposal system is technically advanced, automated and totally clean! Bins are picked up without being touched by human hands!

Sanitary system marvel!

Modern buildings have been built in centuries old style raised on stilts to counter drifting sand. City Hall even has faux sand dunes flanking entrance walkway.
